I think that everyone who at one time was going to have a nice rest on Hainan Island, and those who are just planning to visit this place, are faced with the question: "What to choose for a holiday - Yalunwan Bay or Bay?". This insidious question, which does not have an unambiguous answer, had to be solved by us. Long evenings and nights we checked in the study of the truthful reviews of our predecessors, based on them we chose Dadonghai Bay. But we, of course, also got to Yalunvan Beach. So what? Was our choice correct? Or were we on vacation without the Chinese Bounty?
After long hesitation, you still chose Dadonghai Bay for relaxation. With the proviso that if the sea in Dadonghai Bay turns out to be completely unsuitable for swimming, we will swim in Yalunvan. Thanks to well-developed public transport, getting to Yalun Bay is not at all difficult. Getting to Yalunwan is very easy. Firstly, there are always and everywhere taxis, but this is not our way. We, without a doubt, took advantage of public transport, namely the 25 bus.
Bus to Yalun Bay
You need to go along the 25th route to the very end. Travel time will be approximately 30 minutes. At the entrance to the bus, say the cherished word Yalunvan to the controller girl, and she will tell you that it's time to get off, however, almost the entire bus will go to the beach. The fare is seven yuan per person.

Hotel area in Yalun Bay Well, what can be said about Yalunwan Bay? Well, yes, the sand is fine and almost white. Well, yes, the sea is clear and it even seemed to us a decent temperature. The water beckons to swim. But damn it, there is no such a crazy amount of people on the Bounty, well, it just doesn’t happen.
This is what it is - Chinese Bounty, Yalunvan Bay Jet skis and bananas rush along the water. Parts of the sea fenced off for bathers are teeming with people. People on deck chairs, people on the sand, people in tents erected on the beach, crowds of people sitting right under the bridge.
Bathers in Yalun Bay Outside of this apparently public beach, there are practically empty beaches, but these are the territories of other hotels, they are fenced. Perhaps you can get there somehow, but we did not conduct experiments.
Infrastructure Yalun Bay
There are many changing cabins and places where you can leave your things and take a shower on the beach. The cost of these services is 20 yuan. If you go to the left to the end of the beach, then there will be a free locker room, but it’s dirty and crowded inside, but it’s free.

Sliced fruit cost about 10 yuan, beer 10 yuan. Squid skewers and God knows what else are also sold for 10 yuan. You can eat if you wish.

According to our feelings, Yalunwan Bay is a resort with very expensive hotels and a good sea. On the way to the beach, I had the feeling that this place was specially for vacationers and there is no other life here. Pretentious hotels, flowers, expensive cars around.
In fact, there are almost no inexpensive places where you can eat more than on the beach. It takes longer to get to the main tourist attractions from Yalunwan Bay (not more difficult, but only longer). Despite the fact that the sea in Dadonghai Bay is noticeably worse than in Yalunwan Bay, I am glad that we made this choice. On Yalunvan, there is nothing but the sea. If you want to swim, it is always easy and simple to get there. So, if not only a beach holiday is important for you, then Dadonghai seems to me a more suitable option.
