Novy Urengoy is divided into two parts - Southern and Northern, by the Sede-Yakha and Tamchara-Yakha rivers flowing through it. Monument to Borodino bread
In honor of the 200th anniversary of the Patriotic War of 1812, an unusual monument to Borodino bread was opened in the city in 2012.

Monument to the First Train
During the construction of the city of Novy Urengoy, the first train arrives in these parts with food and building materials. Tourists can see it - this is the TEZ-3003 locomotive, which today proudly stands on a pedestal near the railway station building.
The railway company of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug created this monument in honor of the 30th anniversary of the Novy Urengoy station.
