The unusual Dry Canyon stretches parallel to the Psakho valley and is located half an hour from the river bed. This is a giant tectonic fault that was formed as a result of an earthquake. Powerful, high walls reveal layers of limestone that were once the bottom of the ancient Tethys Ocean.

On the Wet Psaho Canyon there is a cafe/bar, a souvenir shop, and a toilet.

Price

Entrance to the Wet Psakho Canyon for an adult is 100 rubles, children under 10 years old are free.

How to get there?

By car
It’s worth clarifying right away that the access to the entrance to the canyon is not accessible to all cars, and if you go there in a passenger car, you risk sitting on your belly. The road to the canyon itself is dirt, partially washed out after rainfall and has drops and potholes + there is a ford along the route.

Moving from the airport terminal in the direction of Krasnaya Polyana, turning towards the village of Golitsino, you will see a sign to the left towards the Akhshtyrskaya Cave. Following this sign, you need to drive about 10 more kilometers along a beautiful mountain serpentine road, passing the settlements of Kazachiy Brod and Golitsino. When there are no more than 2 km left to the village of Lesnoy, turn left after the sign “Psakho Canyon”. Then drive straight for about 3 km. After fording the Psakho River, on the left side of the road you will see the final point of the route.

By public transport
Take bus No. 131 (they run quite rarely) to the “Kamenka-2” stop, after 30-40 minutes of walking you will find yourself there.
