The UK plans to contain migration from the EU after Brexit. Proposals aimed at reducing the number of unskilled migrants from Europe after Brexit have been revealed in documents leaked from the UK Home Office. The document, obtained by the British newspaper The Guardian, indicates that the free movement of labor will end after the UK leaves the EU in March 2019, and the UK will adopt a "more selective approach" to migration based on the country's economic and social needs.

British economists predict that the base rate will not increase next year. According to their forecasts, the Monetary Policy Committee of the Bank of England will not raise rates during Brexit negotiations. Inflation in the UK in July 2017 was 2.6%, above the Bank's target of 2%. Most likely, by the end of 2018, wage growth will outpace inflation in the country.
