The Rosa Khutor resort opened a pedestrian route
route to the high peak in Krasnaya Polyana, available from cable car- Stone pillar (height 2509 meters). To get there, you first need to take the cable car to Rosa Peak (2320 meters, 1300 rubles), then take a walk to the Crocus chairlift on the southern slope (opening hours 10:30 - 16:20). This cable car works only on the ascent and will take you almost to the top of the Stone Pillar. Keep in mind that you will need to walk all the way back from the Stone Pillar to Rose Peak (about an hour and a half) - comfortable shoes are required. Bring sunscreen and a waterproof windbreaker is a must in case of sudden rain. The last descent from Rosa Peak closes at 20:00.
