To Italy with a child or the best entertainment for children. Italy for kids The biggest amusement park in Italy

Hello, dear readers of the Traveling with Children blog! When planning my first trip to Europe, I realized that I wanted everything at once. But, after reading the reviews of experienced travelers, I made one very important conclusion: Europe should be studied in stages. This means that you need to choose no more than two adjacent countries.

Since we plan to receive an invitation to the European space from Germany, a visit to this country is a mandatory item on our itinerary. And we began to think what other corner of Europe is worth seeing on the first independent trip.

And, oddly enough, they came to a quick decision. My husband and I desires coincided (and this does not always happen). Italy turned out to be our dream for two. I really love Mediterranean cuisine, and my husband is very similar to a temperamental Italian.

And since we are planning a trip with two small children, the next step was to find the answer to the question: where is the best place to relax in Italy with children? This place should not only be fabulously beautiful, but also interesting and safe for our kids. With good sandy beaches, equipped playgrounds, various attractions and amusement parks, as well as shopping and the opportunity to go on excursions to other cities in Italy.

The best prices for tours to Italy for the whole family

And here's what I got...

The most popular region in Italy for families with children turned out to be Emilia-Romagna. It includes such resort towns like Riccione, Milano Marittima, Cesenatico, Rimini, Cervia, etc.

Emilia-Romagna, by the way, one of the richest and most beautiful regions of Italy, is located along the coast of the Adriatic Sea. This place is most suitable for holidays in Italy with children.

Basically, they prefer Riccione, Rimini, Milano Marittima. The sea is ideal for children. The bottom is shallow, flat and sandy. One minus - it is quickly stirred up and becomes not very clean. True, if you swim further away, then the sea will be cleaner and the depth more impressive.

In addition to sand castles and, of course, swimming, children should enjoy all kinds of crabs, shells and shells that live on the shore.

Almost all beaches along the coastline are hotels. They have everything you need for recreation and entertainment: awnings and sun loungers, locker rooms with showers, even small gyms. For little travelers there are many beautiful and safe playgrounds, trampolines, slides. Festivals and fireworks are held periodically. In general, in the evening on the beach it will be fun not only for adults, but also for children.

However, children's entertainment is just beginning. Most a large number of parks and interesting places are concentrated in the area of Rimini - Riccione - Milano Marittima.

So let's start in order...

"Mirabilandia" (Mirabilandia)

This amusement park is practically in no way inferior to (Disneyland) and Barcelona. Just a little smaller in size. By the way, in Italy it is considered the best. 37 state-of-the-art rides, stunt performances, fireworks, demonstration diving, an ice theater and much more await you and your children.

"Atlantic" (Atlantica)

Water park located twenty minutes from Milano Marittima. Guests of the "Atlantic" are greeted every day by a giant whale. Parents and their children will be able to enjoy a ride on the dizzying water slides and enjoy the artificial waves in the pool.

"Aquafan" (Aquafan)

This is another water park. It is located near Riccione and is the largest in Italy. The main highlight of Aquafan is the only extreme river in Europe, where the speed on the descent is more than 70 km/h.

Beach Village

The water park is built in the form of a small village and is located in the Riccione area in the beach area. Here you can not only ride on numerous water slides and swim in heated pools, but also go in for sports under the guidance of experienced instructors. The infrastructure of the water park includes bars, restaurants, its own private beach, solarium and water transport rental (motorcycles, catamarans, surfboards).

In the Rimini-Riccione region, two dolphinariums were built in the second half of the twentieth century. Initially, all work with these mammals was under the supervision of the Italian Navy. Currently, dolphinariums are open to everyone.

I would especially like to note the dolphinarium " Oltremare" (Oltremare) located in Rimini. Each visitor gets the opportunity not only to communicate with amazing marine animals and look at dizzying performances, but also to see something else. For example, the Darwin Pavilion (the evolution of flora and fauna) or the Hippocampus Pavilion (exhibition of seahorses). Residents of the urban jungle should definitely like the farm with all kinds of farm animals.

Fiabilandia

If your child is under 9 years old, be sure to take him to this park. It is located in the Miramare area and is the Italian version of Disneyland for kids. In the park you will find the villages of the Wild West, Merlin's castle, the puppet city of Pinocchio and much more. By the way, all attractions, prices and opening hours can be viewed on their website: www.fiabilandia.com.

"Casa Delle Farfalle" (Butterfly House)

This is a place for young naturalists and lovers of outlandish representatives of our fauna and fauna. The artificial microclimate is home to many butterflies from all over the world (mainly from South America and southern Africa), as well as various types of insects, poisonous frogs and carnivorous plants.

"Italy in miniature" (Italia In Miniatura)

Every child dreams of being big. In this park, your children will feel like giants. And you can go around all of Italy in half an hour and see all the sights (reduced five times). The park is located in Rimini and has more than 270 architectural monuments. It's not just little Italy, it's entire cities with moving trains, ships, working fountains, and so on.

There are several other places in Italy where you can go with children. I wrote about them in an article about and in the article "". But, in my opinion, for the first time it is best to go to the Rimini - Riccione - Milano Marittima area.

Staying in Rimini - Riccione - Milano Marittima, the whole family can visit Venice and Florence (distance about 300 km), as well as San Marino (25 km) and Ravenna (40 km).

There are many theme parks in Italy. Most of them are concentrated in small and large tourist cities. The peculiarity lies in the fact that they are often located at botanical gardens or are part of children's entertainment complexes, while playing an educational role. Families with children are recommended to visit the theme parks in Italy, such a trip will be interesting for the whole family.

Parents will definitely find where to go with their children in Italy. In every resort town there are amusement parks where both adults and children can relax!

Sempione

The largest park in Milan is located in its historic center. Walking along the shady plane tree alleys of Sempione, you can endlessly admire the beauty of his landscape sketches. There is a pond with ducks and turtles, a stadium and a cafe where you can slowly drink a cup of coffee. The tracks are named after famous European writers and poets. There is also a track named after A.S. Pushkin, it rests directly on the bridge of the little mermaids, a recognized landmark of Sempione.

Museums, the famous Wedding Cake Fountain, mysterious historical ruins and the first aquarium in Europe, which appeared back in 1906, are located on the territory. Our compatriots, walking along Sempione, pay special attention to the Sforza Castle. This architectural masterpiece was built in the 15th century, and outwardly it is very similar to our Moscow Kremlin (and this is not surprising, because it was built by invited Milanese architects).

Amusement Park Leolandia

Located 16 kilometers from Bergamo, this is a unique place of entertainment: it is created for young and middle-aged children. Therefore, here you will not see the rollercoasters rising up, terrifying with their very appearance. But this does not mean that you can get bored in Leolandia: there are more than 40 attractions, including carousels, water rides, theater performances, animation programs for every age group. There is a farm where young visitors can watch the animals, stroke or feed them.

The territory is divided into 6 thematic zones, in which famous cartoon characters "live". There are even world-famous Masha and the Bear here, they only speak Italian. Adults also have something to do while they are waiting for the children. In the area called "Mini Italy" in the form of the Apennine Peninsula, models of the main attractions of the country were erected.

Leolandia has created comfortable conditions for people with disabilities. Particular attention is paid to the youngest guests: bottle warmers and changing tables are installed.

Amusement park "Oltremare"

An amazing place in Rimini, to visit which you must definitely set aside a whole day. The park is relatively young, it was opened in 2004. The theme to which it is dedicated is the conservation of nature and respect for it. It demonstrates the beauty and uniqueness of the flora and fauna of our planet. "Oltremare" consists of several thematic areas, among which is the "Dolphin Lagoon", where these amazingly intelligent and sensitive mammals show their abilities and make contact with visitors. On the "Island of Nature" you can watch how birds, including predators, soar in free flight.

In the Hippocampus zone there is an opportunity to see a variety of seahorses: completely different in size and color, they win the hearts of guests. "Planet of the Sea" is inhabited by the inhabitants of the depths: sharks, rays, moray eels and many other species. And this is not all areas. Oltremar has the largest IMAX cinema in Europe (with a capacity of 500 people). In it, guests will watch popular science films about the history of the planet Earth, its inhabitants, natural treasures and mysteries.

Phasanolandia Safari Zoo

The southern Italian city of Fasano is home to one of the largest zoos in Europe. Although Pheasanolandia zoo can hardly be called. This is a zoosafari. It has a dolphinarium, a serpentarium, an ornithological hall, a sector with large mammals and even an amusement park with more than 20 different attractions. There are no caged animals here, they roam freely across a vast area among olive trees, palm trees and lakes. In the first zone, you need to drive your car and, without leaving it, you can pet or feed the friendly inhabitants (this does not apply to predators).

In the second zone, visitors enjoy walking. Tigers, bears, ostriches, horses, llamas, deer, lions, elephants, giraffes are just a small part of the animals that live in Pheasanolandia. A Metrozoo trailer drives around the territory, on which you can move from one part of it to another. Open to visitors from April to October.

Circeo National Park

Not far from Rome and Naples, the national park of Italy is located, which shows an example of how harmony looks like in the relationship between nature and man. In this unique preserved nature reserve, the territory of which is 85 sq km, there are historical and architectural monuments, for example, the oldest amazing building is the villa of the emperor Dominian (built around 81-96 AD).

Conventionally, "Circeo" can be divided into 5 zones:

  • A forest with many walking paths for tourists. And you can also meet representatives of the fauna in it - wild boars, turtles, hares, weasels, foxes and snakes
  • The mountain of the same name, indented with grottoes and caves. A well-preserved Neanderthal skull was found in one of the caves.
  • Sand dunes (their height reaches 27 meters) on the shore with a length of 22 km.
  • The swamps include 4 salt lakes. Fishing activities are even developed here, of course, compatible with the requirements of environmental protection.
  • The uninhabited island of Zanone.

Gran Paradiso

The name corresponds to the cavity, because it translates as "Big Paradise". This is the oldest Italian national park, which is located on the border with France and one of the longest nature reserves in the world. Here you can see any landscapes and landscape panoramas from alpine meadows to eternal glaciers. Elevation differences from 800 m to 4061 m. The highest point of "Gran Paradiso" is one of the highest mountains in Italy with the same name. The reserve became a saving haven for mountain goats when they were on the verge of extinction.

The formation of a reserve of national importance protected the population from hunters and poachers. There are few places where you can find such a variety of flora and fauna as in the "Gran Paradiso". Maples, lindens, spruces, Swiss pines, larches, oaks, chestnuts, firs - and these are not all the trees growing in the park. Dozens of species of animals and birds also live here. Tourists prefer unity with nature from April to October, because the weather during this period allows you to enjoy a comfortable stay in Gran Paradiso.

Pollino National Park

One of the largest nature reserves in the world and the largest in Europe. Its size is 1820 sq km. Mount Pollino of the same name is recognized as the highest mountain peak in the country (2267 m). Natural resources The reserve is innumerable: there is an amazingly diverse flora that fascinates and fascinates tourists. Landscape views at every step are so majestic and beautiful that you want to capture them in your memory forever.

In addition, unique historical monuments have been preserved on the territory: for example, in the Romito cave you can see rock paintings made by ancient people back in the Stone Age. "Pollino" is a place of finds of traces of antiquity: in the Valle del Mercure, the remains of an ancient hippopotamus and an elephant were discovered, which lived here 700 thousand years ago. Attract visitors to the reserve and architectural monuments. Such as the church of the Madonna delle Arme or the monastery of Colloreto. This unique place is ideal for visiting lovers of nature, history and sports.

Monti Sibillini

The visit provides a unique opportunity to enjoy the beauty mountain peaks, of which there are more than 20 on the territory of the reserve. "Monti Sibillini" is a special place in which an atmosphere of mystery reigns, the extraordinary beauty of nature and the realization of how eternal and powerful the ancient peaks are. The local places are filled with legends: according to one of them, the soothsayer Svilla lived here, and her presence is still felt. Lake Pilato has a reddish hue, belief says: this is because the body of Pilate of Pontus was thrown into it.

On the territory there are special houses in which ecological training centers operate, where you can get all the information about the reserve. In "Monti Sibillini" you can go horseback riding, mountain biking, skiing, explore the history of the cities that are spread over the territory. You can also go on routes dedicated to the products that are grown here.

Vesuvius National Park

The whole world knows that the only active volcano in Europe is Vesuvius. And although seismologists can now predict its behavior, in the past it destroyed entire cities. Scientists believe that the volcano has erupted at least 80 times in its history. In the vicinity of Vesuvius there is a large nature reserve, which is located between Naples and Pompeii. Designed by 9 tourist routes for walks that pass through gardens and places with lush vegetation. This surprises tourists, because they assumed that they would see the soil scorched by lava.

But few people know that volcanic lava is an excellent fertilizer for the soil, on which the flora of the area subsequently grows intensively. But you can also see traces of annihilating lava where vegetation has not yet recovered. The vent can be reached on foot, as the funicular was damaged by the last eruption and has not yet been restored. For tourists from handicapped transportation provided. The mouth itself is covered with soil, but the panorama of Naples is perfectly visible from there.

Gargano National Park

Is it often possible to visit a national park, the size of which is a peninsula? Gargano is such a one of a kind place. On the territory of the peninsula there are cities that amaze with their history and originality. White houses nestled between sprawling green hills. It was Gargano that was the residence of the bishop for almost 900 years. The incredible aroma of orange flowers will turn heads in Rodi Garganico. Centuries-old olive trees surround resort town Mattinato. The vegetation of the peninsula is very rich and colorful.

But the main attraction is the crystal clear sea, which is framed by sheer cliffs. Foamy waves splash at their foot and fascinate. Tourists remember many ruined coastal castles, architecturally significant objects and "trabukki" - ancient wooden structures of fishermen. A special pleasure is to go to boat trip and view the Gargano from the sea.

Pinocchio park

This is one of the first theme parks for children in Europe. It is dedicated to the character of the fairy tale of the same name and has been hosting guests for more than sixty years, improving and keeping up with the times. The best sculptors and artists of their time worked to bring the pages of a fairy tale to life in the park. The Pinocchio Museum operates here, which contains illustrations, paintings, ceramic figurines of the heroes of the work, theatrical scenery and many other attributes associated with a fairy tale.

Emilia-Romagna is a rich, beautiful region located on the shores of the Adriatic Sea. Therefore, to get to clean water, you need to swim away from the coast. There is expanse for children here - swim as much as you want, build sand castles, watch the life of crabs, collect shells.
Almost all beaches of the local coastline are the property of hotels. The founder of the legendary park is an Italian (Livio Furini). As a child, he made magic castles out of cardboard. They became a reality after he saw the American Disneyland and wanted to give Italy something similar: a park for family entertainment. As a successful businessman, he found 200 million lire for the park of his dreams. Gardaland was built in six months in the town of Castelnuovo del Garda (Castelnuovo del Garda).

Then, 40 years ago, there were 15 original rides in Gardaland; 10 years later they grew into thematic zones: Sunken Atlantis, Ancient Egypt, Knightly Middle Ages, Hawaiian Islands, Outer space, Cartoon country, etc. In 2006, the English concern Merlin Entertainment bought Gardaland, which was gaining popularity.

On July 19, 1975, the doors of this complex were opened, which is an amusement park Gardaland (Gardaland Park), an aquarium (Gardaland Sea Life) and a hotel (Gardaland Hotel), with a total area of 445,000 square meters. The idea of creating Gardaland Park belongs to the Italian Livio Furini, who dreamed of creating a place where the whole family and people of all ages could have fun together.

Amusement parks began to develop in Italy in the mid-60s of the last century, it was during this period that the first entertainment areas for families appeared: Edenlandia, built in Naples in 1964, and Fiabilandia, which opened a year later in Rivazzurra (Rimini). At first, both of these parks were quite simple and offered mostly Luna Park rides and carousels for the little ones.

In the mid-1970s, a group of entertainment entrepreneurs from Veneto traveled to California. Inspired by the success of Disneyland, when they returned, they decided to join forces and create something similar on the shores of Lake Garda. Thus was born Gardaland, modeled after American Disneyland.

Over time, amusement parks in Italy continued to develop, taking on new forms and directions, so there were water, zoological, educational, adventure, theme parks. Currently, there are about 140 of them in the country: from very small ones, run by individual families, to international parks, such as Gardaland, Mirabilandia and Rainbow MagicLand.

Every year, about 10 million people visit Italian amusement parks, which brings in 350 million in profit. The most visited (and most profitable) park is Gardaland, with over 3 million people seeking to visit it every year. This is the most attractive place for tourists in northern Italy and the third most visited in the whole country (after the Colosseum and the Vatican Museums).

Gardaland - history

I would like to note that the main feature of this park is its division into thematic areas, of which there are already ten in the park in 2014: Egypt, Atlantis, the Middle Ages, Europe of the last century, Hawaii, Burma, East, Far West, Fantasy, Space.

There are 33 attractions on the territory of the park, each of which is equipped with photo and video recording. All attractions surprise with their beauty, and the variety gives each of you the opportunity to choose something to your liking.

  • Magic Winter from 10.00 to 18.00: magical winter

The complex has 5 restaurants:

  • Il Covo Del Bucanieri - a typical fast food restaurant located on 2 floors, decorated in the English style;
  • Fast Food Blue Tornado - another fast food presented as a small military airport;
  • Pizzeria Saloon - a cowboy-style pizzeria;
  • Lo nada del Corsaro Nero - a restaurant with an outside terrace;
  • Self Service Aladino - self service cafe

The hotel, located on the territory of the complex, creates convenience for visitors who decide to stay for a few days. The variety of room decoration is amazing, but the cost of the rooms cannot be attributed to an economical option, so our trip lasted only one day. In this case, the statement is appropriate: “If you want to get into a fairy tale, be prepared to spend money”

Any transport will take you to the Gardaland amusement park, but, in my opinion, the most convenient way to travel is by private transport or by train: the park is located 2 kilometers from the Peschiera del Garda station, Milan-Venice railway line, and provides a free bus ( Navetta), which will pick you up from the station and take you to the park.

Gardaland, via Derna, 4, 37014, Castelnuovo del Garda, Verona, Italiawww.gardaland.it 39 045 644 9777

The complex can be divided into three areas:

  • Amusement area;
  • Gardaland Sea Life Aquarium;
  • Hotels Garadaland and Garadaland Aventur.

To deal with the amusement zones, you need to find a map of the park, which is on the official website of the company. The Fantasi zone will be marked in blue, Adventure in green, Adrenaline in red.

Gardaland

Gardaland is a theme park that is one of the 15 most visited theme parks in Europe. Its grand opening took place on July 19, 1975, and the creator of the park is the businessman Livio Furini from the city of Peschiera del Garda. At first, there were few attractions in Gardaland, but they were distinguished by originality and therefore were a great success with the public.

Gardaland is the third most popular amusement park in Europe, built in 1975 in northern Italy on east coast Lake Garda. Gardaland is divided into thematic zones Burmana, Hawaii, Atlantis, Egypt, Wild West, East, Middle Ages, Science Fiction, Space. And the most popular rides are the classic roller coaster Raptor, v? It is full of interesting attractions for all ages and tastes, and one of the most popular rides is Shock, created based on the well-known "roller" coasters, sometimes called "Russian" here.

Many consider Shock to be the main attraction of this park.

Mirabilandia - One of the largest amusement parks in Europe, Mirabilandia covers an area of 850,000 sq. meters approximately between the city of Ravenna and popular resort Rimini on the Adriatic coast. Luxurious gardens are spread around the park and directly on its territory, which surround three picturesque lakes.

Miragica is the main amusement park in the southern part of mainland Italy, located 25 km north of the city of Bari. Here you will find about 20 attractions, the most interesting of which are roller coasters and a free fall tower.

In addition to the above parks, it is worth noting the Movieland amusement park in the province of Verona, the Minitalia-Leolandia amusement park near Bergamo and Magic world, located just a few kilometers from Naples.

IN resort area Rimini is the Fiabilandia park, which focuses on families with children under 9 years old. This is an Italian version of Disneyland, surrounded by bright greenery, where you will find the villages of the Wild West, the lake of dreams, a pirate galleon, Merlin's castle and many other attractions.

Fiabilandia has over 30 fun attractions for kids!

It's a blue amusement area called Fantasy Kingdom. Children as young as 2 go here. For them, admission is free. Here they are entertained by the Green Dragon Prezzemolo, who acts as the main mascot. He also has friends. They are Aurora the sorceress, Mously the bat, Bambu the panda, Pagui the seagull and T-Gey the tiger.

Red zone. Older visitors can already come here, while each must be at least 155 cm tall.

  • Shaman. It offers virtual reality technology. In it, visitors will ride on a slide with a double loop.
  • Raptor. Some people think that no other attraction is near this attraction. Passenger cabins ride through the cave at a speed of 90 km/h. On the way there are up to three dead loops and a dangerous lizard trying to get to its prey. As a bonus, the illusion of danger of collision with an obstacle is created.
  • Blue Tornado. A slide with five loops and a section accompanied by the illusion of free fall.
  • Space Vertigo. A trip from the height of a 10-story building with the effect of free fall.
  • Oblivion The Black Hole. During the trip, the passenger will experience a fall into a black hole and see the merger of two galaxies.

Note! Due to the large number of queues during the day, you may not have time to visit all the attractions. It takes approximately 5 hours to experience at least three of them. It is recommended to stretch the weekend for about 2 days.

The baroque staircase ascends steeply, widening before the visitor like a triumphal path between rose and iris borders and stone statues.

Gardens of Villa Gamberaia

The beautiful villa was built in 1610 by the architect Gamberelli. She combined modesty and luxury. Oak groves, an ancient wall surrounded by a park, a greenhouse with orange trees, as well as statues of mythical monsters have survived. During the war, the central building was destroyed. Ruins lie under the canopy of trees, but the stone lion still protects the deceased Tuscany valley.

Park of Villa Lante

The synthesis of a richly conceived parterre with terraces rising higher and higher under the crown of centuries-old plane trees, the variety of fountains, the richness of flower shades, the decorativeness of the entrance gates and the simplicity of the casino facades, the comparative safety of fountains and buildings give this villa an extraordinary charm.

Vignanello castle park

The park at the castle of Vignanello spreads virgin beauty. Its rectangular area is crossed by paths placed in the correct geometric order, along which bushes of laurel, boxwood and laurel cherry grow.

Garden of the Nymph

The picturesque Garden of the Nymph is arranged more chaotically, dotted with paths winding between stones and water.

The role of theme parks in the development of international tourism The popularity of theme parks as recreational destinations will increase every year.

The European entertainment market is quite developed.

The history of amusement parks dates back to the time of medieval Europe, where the Pleasure Gardens opened in the spring on the outskirts of the main cities.

The European market is divided into two types of parks, those that have developed over the years and those that have been specifically conceived and built as theme parks. Entertainment has now become a global industry with huge, rapidly growing revenues. Theme parks occupy a special place in this industry.

The idea of theme parks originated in Europe at the end of the 19th century. At the World Exhibition in Brussels, for the first time, an amusement corner (from the French Attraction “attraction”) appeared, a carousel, a Ferris wheel. A little later, in Paris, the world's first attraction on a literary basis, "From a Cannon to the Moon", appeared. Visitors climbed one by one into the cramped "spacecraft", they were enveloped in smoke, and then a lunar landscape appeared behind the porthole. Together with the carousels located in the neighborhood, it became known as the Luna Park.

Mirabilandia

This amusement park near Ravenna was inaugurated on July 4, 1992. In the early years of its existence, it did not enjoy much popularity, primarily due to inept leadership. However, in 1996, Mirabilandia was acquired by the Loffelhardt-Casoli commercial group, which, with the help of large investments, managed to renovate and diversify the park by opening a large number of new attractions, among which, for example, the Katun roller coaster, the longest in Europe.

Recently, the highest roller coaster in Europe, Divertikal, was added to them. In total, the park has 37 attractions, there is a circus, a 4D cinema, performances and performances for park guests are constantly organized, including stunt performances, an ice theater, laser shows, and fireworks.

The number of visitors to Mirabilandia is constantly growing. In 2003, Mirabilandia Beach, an aquatic amusement park, appeared next to the theme park, which immediately won success with the public, thanks, among other things, to a low entrance price and a “second day free” promotion. Mirabilandia is divided into seven thematic zones, located in the greenery of trees around the central lake. Here everyone will find entertainment to their liking, some of the rides are unique and exist only here.

Mirajika

Italy in miniature

Park "Italy in miniature", located near the resort of Rimini on east coast Italy, is one of the oldest and most famous such parks in the world. The vast territory of the park repeats the outlines of the well-known Italian "boot", where you can see all of Italy, only a small one - from 1:50 to 1:25. Italy in miniature is a cross between a museum and an amusement park.

Italy in miniature includes more than 250 models of natural and architectural sights of Italy

The theme park "Italy in Miniature" is located on Adriatic coast in Viserba, north of Rimini. The initiator of the creation of this park was Ivo Rambaldi, after he saw similar parks in other European countries. It took three years of work and 300 million lire (150,000 euros) to bring the idea to fruition.

Exhibits of miniature Italy. Photo hotelgabicce.info

The park opened on July 4, 1970. At first, its exhibition area was 20,000 square meters, it housed 50 miniature attractions in a ratio of 1:25 and 1:50. Over the years, in order to attract more public, some ordinary attractions have appeared next to miniature Italy. But still, the main goal of tourists coming here is to see 272 miniature monuments in one day, located on 85,000 square meters of parkland.

You can also travel around this park on a gondola, which is five times smaller than a real Venetian one. You can play in the Science Luna Park, ride the Canoe and Sling Shot attractions, and look at miniature Italy from above, from the height of the Rainbow Monorail. And since 2007, those who wish can take part in water fights in the Cannonacqua attraction.
