The nearest beach is 1.5 km. Since this beach is the only equipped one in this village, there are a lot of people on weekends. The hotel is not suitable for families with children. When checking in 2 + 1, a "comfortable" folding bed is issued for the child, if the child accidentally sits on the edge, it is covered with a folding bed ((. In the bathroom, it is also a toilet, there is no ventilation, respectively, all the smells in the room. Ants. For food - no dietary (children's) food.If you have a late flight, be prepared that at 12.00 they will cut off the bracelets, even if you extend the room, food is not included in it.Location - a quiet village around small restaurants and several shops, there is nowhere to walk in the evening.Evening animation is suitable for English pensioners, local amateur performances perform hits of the 80s, or Latin American dances, bingo is usually in English (sometimes translated into Russian). , it is impossible to read. Paid WI-FI, bought a local SIM card, it turns out cheaper and everywhere with the Internet, and not just in the hotel. It is better to take excursions outside the hotel (cheaper). 615 bus can take you to Paphos, where there is where to walk and what to see. Stops near the hotel free bus to the local zoo, the child really liked it. for 10 euros you can feed a giraffe, for 2.5 euros you can persuade parrots to eat. The hotel is suitable for those who like to spend their holidays by the pool. Yes, and this hotel very often overbooks, which the girl at the reception proudly told us about.

Great hotel! We took a room with a sea view. This is a separate building from the hotel. The sea view is definitely worth it! Cleaned up every day! The hotel area is small. There were always enough places in the restaurant for everyone. There were no queues. The hotel is very well located, right on the beach. The food is good, no complaints. At the reception, all issues are resolved, they help to navigate in the city, everything is polite. Housekeeping is the weakest point. The floor is washed, the sand remains, then they forget to put the shampoo. Upon arrival at 3 o'clock in the morning they gave a snack, they did not give water. In the morning they asked about water, yes, we’ll put it on now, but they didn’t wait. The sea is gorgeous. Everything is fine!

Went to the hotel with my wife September 2014, for 4 days. The impression is not bad, but more connected with my emotions than the joy brought by the hotel, in short, to my unbiased taste, I will put a solid 4 ku., settled in 5 minutes, even managed to change the room for more best view on the sea, also took 5 minutes. The food is good and varied, the only water, if not from a closed bottle, consists of bleach and water in a proportion of 50-50)) so it seems to me that it will be problematic with children in this regard. The hotel area is nice, well-groomed, of course, there is not enough cosmetic repairs and there is nowhere to go, but it didn’t really bother me. The beach, of course, deserves special treatment, because it doesn’t exist as such (I can’t call what is opposite the hotel a beach, I think this is a fair description) saved the location in 15 minutes public beach Coral Bay( perfect place) because we rented a car, which I recommend to everyone who has such an opportunity in Cyprus, I didn’t feel any problems with the availability of this beach and visiting all the excursions on my own, so in total I put 4 ku for the beaches, but for those who are going with children (I’m like a father of 2 I understand this very well for little peanuts) you will have to overcome the distance to this beach on foot 15 - although not with children 30 minutes)) but the beach is worth it. By the way, there is nothing particularly noteworthy for children, no animation, no menu, in their power is the pool itself and a small playground consisting of two slides. For adults in the evening, a Bingo game that is incomprehensible to me and a 2-hour concert, when you leave the hotel there is a street with restaurants and cafes, it's more fun there. As a result, the impression of the rest is good, but once again it consists of our impressions with my wife, which were collected not at the hotel, but while cruising in a rented car through the expanses and mountain serpentines of the island of Cyprus.

Recreation complex Ascos Coral Beach Hotel 4 * is located near the beautiful city of Paphos in Cyprus, right on the sea coast. There is a lot of exotic greenery and beautiful flowers on the territory, tourists are happy to take photos near the pool. Very close located famous beach Coral Bay. Many English and Russian tourists with children come here. Kids breathe fresh sea air, and also visit the nearby play park with pleasure.
The territory is not very big, but well-groomed. There is a beautiful swimming pool, where entertainment is organized every evening for children and their parents. You can quickly get to the city by local minibus, and mothers often walk along the promenade with strollers. Almost all the windows of one of the buildings overlook the sea.
If the windows overlook the patio, families with children should ask to be moved, as the room will be noisy in the evenings.
Rooms

All rooms are very modern, the interiors are decorated in Art Nouveau style. Towels are changed daily, cleaning is regular. For the safety of things, it is advised to rent a safe (2 EUR per day). Internet is paid, for a week you need to pay 24 EUR for 2 smartphones, but in 2020 the cost of the package may change. There is free Wi-Fi near local cafes.
Guests arriving in the morning, subject to availability, can be accommodated even earlier than 14.00. Some operators do not take into account the problem of overbooking during certain periods, so sometimes guests are offered to spend one or more nights in other hotels of the same line.
The rooms are all clean and spacious, with large windows, you can see the sea and the coast. Each room has:
- refrigerator;
- air conditioner;
- Electric kettle;
A bottle of water is left in the minibar only on the day of arrival. Shower accessories are constantly replenished. Adapters can be borrowed from the administrator, leaving a small deposit. Plumbing and furniture are quite new, there is a large balcony.
The building near the sea is new, it was recently renovated. Russian tourists are often settled there.
The only inconvenience is that you have to go uphill to the main building, but this is compensated by a more relaxed atmosphere. As extra bed for children put a folding bed. There is one Russian channel on TV.

For a four star, the menu is very good. The Ascos Coral Beach restaurant prepares meat and fish dishes (4-5 varieties) every day, and in the evenings guests are introduced to the cuisines of different nations and regions (Russian, Greek, Mediterranean). Children will love fresh fruit, delicious local sweets and ice cream with syrups that can be enjoyed at any time of the day. Also constantly treated with juices near the pool.
According to tourists, seafood is rare, but you can try it in one of the restaurants nearby. Always a great selection of good cheeses and vegetables.
Even parents with children from 1 to 4 years old find suitable dishes.
There is a choice:
- porridge and cereal with milk;

- soups (for lunch and dinner).
Food for children can be taken to the room. Snacks are arranged throughout the day, so no one remains hungry. Drinking water can be poured into bottles and taken with you. There is no separate children's table in the hall, although there are usually a lot of kids. In the evenings, the restaurant has a dress code, but sometimes tourists are quietly let in even in ordinary clothes.
Staff
All the staff are very friendly, there will always be someone who speaks Russian nearby. The service is at a high level, the waiters offer everyone drinks by the pool, quickly change the dishes in the restaurant and fill the glasses. Guests note the smile of bartenders, administrators and maids. Children are treated very attentively, they always ask for comments and wishes. The manager at the reception will advise where to go and how to get to one or another place.
Entertainment and animation

Entertainment Askos Coral Beach is better than many other hotels in Cyprus. Basically, it is in English, but all vacationers will like it. often satisfied musical performances show dance shows. Fans of old-fashioned entertainment can play bingo. Also there are:
- water aerobics;
- volleyball;
- boccia;
- darts.
There is live music in the evenings. There is a small animation program for children, it takes about half an hour. Daytime animation is rare, the quality depends on the working employee. The main entertainment is located outside the hotel. You can walk along the streets, where there are many restaurants and cafes, or go on an excursion.
Beach

Just 5 minutes walk there is wild beach with a rocky entry into the sea, but a little further tourists have cleared a convenient area. Nearby is a bar with soft drinks. Vacationers from the UK prefer to spend time by the pool, there are always free sunbeds there.
It is better to take special bathing slippers for children with you from home; if necessary, you can buy them in local stores for 7–10 EUR.
The road to Coral Bay Beach takes about 15 minutes (1 km). Sandy entry into the sea is especially convenient for children. A lot of tourists come there and local residents from the city. Sunbeds and showers are paid, as elsewhere on the island. In 5 minutes by minibus you can get to Koralia beach, there are much fewer people there, and 2 sunbeds and a beach umbrella will cost 7.5 EUR.

We stayed with a friend at the Ascos Coral Beach 4 * hotel from June 25 to July 3. We were settled in a small building overlooking the sea, which we were initially very happy about. 2 days before departure, while we were at dinner, someone broke into the room, cut open my suitcase and stole jewelry and money. We could not imagine such a situation, otherwise, of course, we would have taken the safe. With a wealth of travel experience, we have never come across such situations. The reception staff called the police, they arrived quickly enough, filled out the papers, however, they did not take any prints, although they constantly repeated that we should not touch anything. A friend has a suitcase - a completely plastic box (without a zipper) the thieves could not open, she checked that the suitcase was closed and the money was in place. The police asked her for documents, she took out her passport from her suitcase and left the suitcase open, after the police left, there was no more money in her open suitcase. While one of them was filling out the paperwork, the other two walked around the room and probably grabbed the surviving money.
The next day we contacted the hotel manager, Mr. Takis. Instead of the expected apology, we heard accusations that we allegedly staged everything ourselves (they cut the suitcase for 30 thousand rubles!!! - which is absurd in itself), with the words: “We should have taken the safe! It's not my problem!" - he turned around and left. And only after another conversation with the reception staff, the hotel gave us 1 lunch (we had half board), canceled the bill for WiFi and 2 glasses of wine, and agreed on a late check-out (generosity rolls over ...). Naturally, all the pleasant emotions from the rest disappeared at the moment from the theft itself, theft by the police, plus the frank rudeness of the management
The bottom line is this:
As we found out later, thefts in this building have been happening regularly for over 10 years (sorry, we did not read the reviews on TripAdvisor earlier ...). In the same week with us, 2 more Russian girls were robbed in the same way
Only Russian tourists are accommodated in this building (apparently, they don’t dare to rob foreigners), this is the attitude towards Russians in this hotel
There is a sharply aggressive attitude towards girls traveling without men in a conflict situation (I'm sure if my husband was with me on this trip, the attitude would be different). I have never experienced greater rudeness and humiliation in my life, and this despite the fact that we are customers who paid for the rest in this hotel
Thefts are committed by hotel employees or with the complicity of employees, since only those who did not use the paid safe suffer (the reception has this information). All thefts occur during dinner and 1-2 days before departure, so that tourists do not have the opportunity to do something (departure dates are also known to the reception). I do not rule out that the manager, Mr. Takis, has his own percentage of thefts, otherwise he would have taken measures to stop theft in the hotel, and he is absolutely satisfied with everything
All employees are aware of what is happening in the hotel, but they do not want to hand over anyone
The reception staff gave me thread with a needle, a film so that I could sew up and wrap my suitcase and return home with it (all at the service of clients ...)
The tour operator Biblioglobus also did not help us, only sympathized ... So we had to rely only on ourselves

We went on vacation with the whole family (me with my wife and a child of 6 years). We have already rested in Cyprus a couple of times, but in Paphos for the first time. The hotel was chosen based on reviews on the Internet. The apartments were booked in advance, back in Moscow. Our choice was a spacious room overlooking the seaside. With regards to the tour, we had it “ all inclusive". We landed in Larnaca, took a taxi for 100 euros and was already at the hotel in just an hour and a half. They settled us at the same moment, which was very pleasing, because. you understand, with a small child it would be problematic to wait. The room they gave us was exactly the one that was booked, what to say 5 stars was felt in everything.
The territory of Coral Beach is really huge and with an incredible amount of green spaces. An insane amount of different restaurants, there is an excellent playground with a swimming pool and two water slides which our daughter really liked. The sea is just excellent, the water was warm all our vacation. We went to the beach three or four times a day. The beach belonging to the hotel, with small pebbles, from this the sea is simply crystal clear. Sun loungers are given to everyone free of charge. A couple of times they got out on the municipal coast, because. daughter was a little capricious and wanted sandy beach. It’s also quite a great place for sunbathing, the entrance to the sea is gentle, the sand is fine and clean, in general, it’s the most for those who rest with small children. True, here already for sunbeds they paid extra for 5 euros for 2 sun loungers.

The hotel is just great! The room has everything you need for unforgettable holiday. The choice of food in the restaurant is excellent. Every day we ate sweet pomegranate and guava for future use. Ice cream was usually given out at the bar starting at 10 am. With regards to lunch and dinner, full self-service, i.e. you serve yourself as much food as you want. It’s not that we rested in Turkey last year, that we gave out a certain amount in portions to one hand, it’s already unpleasant to remember.
There is an excellent zoo near the hotel, with a guy we drove back and forth in a taxi, we got 18 euros, the journey was no more than 10 minutes. We visited an aviary with parrots, they are allowed to be hand-fed, a very cool feeling of the birds are really tame, so if you are there, be sure to take a look.
We were lucky with the weather, the whole holiday passed without a single cloudy day. The sea was clean and warm. As a result of the holidays in Coral, we were extremely satisfied, so we will definitely return here.
