The most mysterious mountains of Kazakhstan are the Bayanaul massif. Resorts of Kazakhstan

Stunning, cosmic, amazing, amazing, extraordinary - this is how the tourists who visited here describe the mountain ranges of Bayan-Aul.

Bayanaul State national park(BAYAN-AUL) is a national park in the Republic of Kazakhstan located in the southeast of the Pavlodar region, 100 km from the industrialized city of Ekibastus. Bayanaul is a word of Turkic origin, the literal translation means happy, rich mountains.

Like a green island, the Bayanaul mountains rise among the feather-grass Kazakh steppes. It is impossible not to be surprised by the creations of Mother Nature, who created original and amazing stone sculptures.

One of the most beloved rocks is Baba Yaga or the Stone Head.

Rocks in the form of a Dove, a flying saucer, the profile of A.S. Pushkin, Horse head, Bun. Here, time seems to have stopped and a world devoid of civilization appears.

The rocks and mountains of Bayanaul are a legend! The original sculptures were created by nature, as if it had made a riddle to mankind for many years.

The lakes of Bayanaul are magnificent! All of them feed on spring streams from mountain crevices.

The largest freshwater lakes are Sabyndykol, Zhasybai, Toraigyr and Birzhankol. By ancient legend the beautiful Bayan was washing her long beautiful hair in the lake and dropped the soap. The lake was called the "soap lake" - Sabyndykol, the water in it is especially soft, as if soapy to the touch. And the brave warrior Dzhasybai died on the shore of another lake, fighting against the invaders. The lake was named Jasybay. The water in it is clean and transparent, and the location between the mountains gives travelers beautiful views and beaches.

One of the mysteries of Bayanaul is the holy cave KONYR-AULIYE. Having been here and undergoing a certain ritual, women can be cured of infertility. healing power sacred place miraculously helped to find the happiness of motherhood to many women! And in this cave is a bowl of water. There is a belief that if you come with good intentions and make a wish, it will surely come true, otherwise the cup will be empty.

Mysterious places in the Bayanaul mountains are picturesque gorges. A legend about a spring with living water, rejuvenating a person, is associated with the Witches' Gorge.

On the south coast Lake Zhasybai has a grotto called "Jug", resembling a vessel with a narrow neck. And in another famous grotto, Dravert, writings were found - drawings of ancient people.

The mountains are cut by cool streams with crystal clear clean water. Birch, alder, berry bushes and pines grow along the streams. Pines, inexplicably making their way between the stones, acquire broken wonderful forms, which gives a peculiar beauty and originality to landscapes.

Bayanaul is called the cultural pearl of Kazakhstan. And people say - Bayanaul - the place of power of the Kazakhs. And all the secrets of the sacred place of power have not yet been unraveled.

People who once visited Bayanaul want to return again and again. There are many holy places here, and it is here that pilgrims from Mongolia, Russia, the CIS countries and other countries come. And they all agree on one thing - this place attracts not only its amazing beauty and unusual, but also powerful energy.

Inhaling the healing aromas of pine and juniper, admiring the views of lakes and the outlines of mountains, a person begins to experience feelings of unity with nature and the whole universe, the fullness of life or grace, as believers call this feeling.

In Bayanaul on July 6-7-8, 2017, at the recreation center "SULTAN", located on the shores of Lake Zhasybay, a training with immersion "COURSE OF SACRED KNOWLEDGE" will be held with the author Elena Nikolaeva.

The training is held on the days of the Ivan Kupala holiday. This is the time of the flowering of nature, the time of the energy portal, allowing you to unite with the divine plan of life and feel a deep connection with the natural world and with all forms of life.

– Practices of cleansing and filling with feminine and masculine energies.

— Sacred rites and immersions, revealing the energies of love, wealth, health, sexuality, self-realization.

The training will take place outdoors, surrounded by pristine nature.

In order to spend time in places of power, including Bayanaul, with the highest quality, efficiency and safety, you need to tune in accordingly.

When visiting such places, you need to be especially in tune with your feelings and thoughts. They are able to amplify at times intentions and thoughts and mirror them into the outside world.

One of the signs of human nature is the consumer attitude to places of power. Being filled and inspired, receiving energy, fulfilling your desires, it is very important to give something in return - do not forget to thank for his gifts and strength, to preserve the original beauty and purity.

There are unwritten rules of behavior when visiting places and events: do not litter, do not swear, do not drink alcohol, do not talk a lot and loudly, while maintaining inner centering. Do not condemn, but be open to any events and internal states.

We invite everyone to the intensive training in Bayanaul.

Tours in the Bayanaul mountains.

“Bayanaul has never known wholesale declines in livestock. Protected from bad weather in the most fodder years, [cattle] somehow endured the winter, sometimes eating twigs of deciduous trees. It is not for nothing that the group of these mountains was given the name Bayanaula, which means a prosperous mountain, in Mongolian - Bayan-ola. Historical traditions Kazakhs associate the name of the mountain locality with the name of the beauty Bayan, the heroine of the folk epic poem "Kozy-Korpesh and Bayan-Sulu"

Tours to Bayanaul National Park.

Bayanaul is a word of Mongolian-Turkic origin, their literal translation is rich, happy mountains. Among the steppes in the south-west of the Pavlodar region is the pearl of Kazakhstan - the Bayanaul mountains.
The Bayanaul mountains are located in the southern part of the Pavlodar region on the territory of the Bayanaul district, almost the entire territory of the Bayanaul mountains is located on the territory of the Bayanaul national natural park.
Bayanaul mountains stretch in the latitudinal direction for 42 kilometers, in the meridional direction their length is 16 kilometers. On topographic maps, the mountains are divided into the Northern Bayan and Eastern Bayan mountains.
In the central part, east of Lake Zhasybay, the mountains are called Zhasybay. The highest height of the Bayanaul mountains is Mount Akbet with a height of 1022 meters above sea level, which is located in the northern, central part of the mountains.
In the Eastern Bayan Mountains highest altitude- Mount Ogolen 958 meters above sea level. The mountains occupy a mountain and forest oasis with an area of more than 450 square kilometers. The Bayanaul mountains are characterized by bizarre stone blocks.
Stone statues are one of the natural attractions of Bayanaul. Attractive and interesting natural attractions are concentrated in the mountains with bizarre rocks Kempir tas (Baba Yaga), Dove, Naizatas (Bulka), Horse's Head, Stone Feathers.
The most beautiful lakes Sabyndykol, whose area is 7.4 square kilometers and the lake Zhasybay with an area of 4 square kilometers. In the eastern part of the Bayan Mountains there is the cave Aulie tas, 22 meters long and the grotto Dravert - with rock paintings, grotto Jug with a waterfall 3 meters high, steep narrow gorges.
The absolute heights of the Bayanaul mountains range from 600 to 1000 meters above sea level. From the main mountain range, gradually lowering, the spurs of the mountains Zhasybai, Zhanbaky, Toryaigyr, Zhaksyaula, Zhamanaul depart.
The Bayanaul mountains are composed of crystalline granites, syenites, porphyrites, and schists. The modern relief was formed in the Mesozoic as a result of the destruction of mountains under the influence of exogenous forces.
On the slopes of the mountains - pine, birch and aspen forests and light forests, alternate with feather grass and forb steppes. There are rest houses in the vicinity.

In June, we flew around Kazakhstan Switzerland by helicopter. So called Bayanaul - national nature Park, which is a small mountain oasis in the south-west of Pavlodar region. Here beautiful lakes, pretty mountains, between which the road winds. Well, shall we fly?

2. We approach the lake Toraigyr. It is the third largest fresh lake Bayanaul. There are four of them in total - Sabyndykol (the largest, with an area of 7.4 sq. km), Zhasybai (6.5 sq. km), Toraigyr (1.2 sq. km) and Birzhankol (0.7 sq. km). There are still very small ones that dry up in the summer.

3. In 2015 the Bayanaul Natural Park will celebrate its 30th anniversary. Of course, all these mountains were here millions of years earlier. But in 1985, the first national natural park in Kazakhstan was organized to preserve and restore local nature.

4. Bayanaul smells amazing. Doesn't look like anything. Here the darkness of various plants (460 species). Bayanaul pines often stick out directly from the rocks, one can only guess what mighty roots they have. In the mountains there is a lot of juniper, all kinds of mosses, you can find huge thickets of ferns. There is especially a lot of it in the ravine with the eerie name "Gorge of the Witches." This gorge is located near Lake Toraigyr. It is famous for the fact that, firstly, there are a lot of snakes, and secondly, because, according to local legends, thunderstorms steadily occur there on strictly certain days of the year. In general, we do not fly there yet).

5. Mountains in Bayanaul, mostly of volcanic origin. This is lava that solidified tens of millions of years ago.

6. Recently, Pavlodar scientists found a volcanic bomb in Bayanaul - a lava lump weighing 20 kg, thrown out during a volcanic eruption 65 million years ago. Experts suggest that millions of years ago there were active volcanoes on the territory of modern Kazakhstan.

7. We pass over the road leading to the camp sites on the lake Zhasybai. The lake itself is far to the right and behind us. In the meantime, Lake Sabyndykol appeared ahead, next to which is the village of Bayanaul.

8. Most high mountain Bayanaula - Akbet. Over the past 20 years, judging by official state cards(I personally saw), Akbet became four meters lower. Now its height is 1022 m above sea level, and in the late eighties it was 1026 m. A mountain serpentine winds below. Even today, buses pass it, disembarking all passengers (they descend or ascend on foot). V Soviet time There was a case when a bus with passengers fell into the abyss. Since then, of course, the road has changed a lot and has become much safer. But it's still not worth the hassle.

9. Continuation of the road, Zhasybay is already visible.

10. Clouds over Zhasybay. The shore of the lake closest to the road is full of numerous recreation centers. There are much fewer people on Toraigyr and Sabyndykol.

11. Again we pass over the serpentine and approach the largest lake Bayanaul.

12. District center Bayanaul. Now about 6,000 people live in this village. The history of the village is connected with the Cossacks - in 1826 they founded the village of Bayan-Aul here. Now the main attraction of the village is the mosque (bottom right).

13. The village of Bayanaul is located near the lake Sabyndykol. Traditionally, it is considered less picturesque than Zhasybai or Toraigyr. But if you see the local sunset, the stereotype will disappear. And you will soon see such a sunset, I promise. .

14. Max Depth reaches 9.5 m. In this, Sabyndykol is inferior to both Zhasybay and Toraigyr - they are deeper.

15. Sabyndykol is translated as "soap lake". According to legend, a Kazakh beauty dropped the soap into the lake. In fact, due to the high alkali content in the water, it is unpleasant to swim there, you come out slippery, like in soap.

16. Western part of Zhasybay lake. I met the opinion that this is the most transparent lake in Kazakhstan. At the top left you can see a mountain called Bulka, up close it really looks like a puff bun.

17. Every year, the Bayanaul Natural Park receives 110 thousand tourists, most of them go exactly here - to Zhasybay. In the northeastern part of the lake there is a beach, not far from it there is a huge number of various recreation centers.

18. The road from Pavlodar to this tourist area takes about 230 km. It is asphalted, but has not been repaired for a long time, the new sections are rather short. Nevertheless, before our eyes, new asphalt was being laid directly between the serpentine and recreation centers on Zhasybai, perhaps someday they will be repaired all the way.

19. View of Zhasybai from the southeast. On the left is Love Island - the largest in Zhasybay.

20. The maximum depth of Zhasybay is 14 m. This is the most deep lake Bayanaul. In second place is Toraigyr (11 m).

21. Prohibited on Zhasybay motor boats, scooters - only rowing boats and catamarans.

22. You can play tennis at one of the camp sites.

23. Beach. In June, the water was quite cool, but many were already swimming. In July, the water temperature is usually higher, and there are much more people.

24. Renting a rowing boat in June 2014 cost 1,500 tenge per hour (300 rubles). It can normally accommodate four people. For a 3-seater catamaran, they asked for 1000 tenge per hour (200 rubles).

25. Southwestern coast of Zhasybay.

Many thanks for organizing the flight - to my dad

Bayanaul State National Natural Park (Bayanaul, Kaz. Bayanaul memlekettik ulttyk tabiғi parkі) is a national park in the Republic of Kazakhstan, located in the south of the Pavlodar region (Bayanaul district), 140 km from the industrialized city of Ekibastuz, on the outskirts of the Central Kazakhstan hills. It is one of the specially protected natural areas of Kazakhstan.

The national park invites all the curious to look at the main sights - the Dzhasybay and Toraigyr lakes. Lake Dzhasybai is one of the favorite places for tourists. The water in this lake is crystal clear, and the beach is nestled between two low mountains. Vacationers are offered not only an excursion, but also the opportunity to settle in a camp site and in a rest house located on the territory of the state national park.
The park was founded in 1985, being the first national park in Kazakhstan. The basis for the creation of the park was the need to preserve and restore the natural flora and fauna of the Bayanaul mountain range. The total area of the park is 68,453 hectares.

Most large lake- Sabyndykol (kaz. Sabyndyköl, literally - "soap lake"), on the shore of which the village of Bayanaul is located. The lake is named so due to its special, soft water, as if soapy to the touch. According to legend, the beautiful Bayan washed her beautiful hair in the lake and dropped her soap into it.

Bayanaul - a village, the regional center of the Bayanaul district in the Pavlodar region, near the Sabyndykol lake at the foot of the Bayanaul mountains.
The surroundings of Bayanaul are a climatic resort area, since 1985 they have been declared the Bayanaul National Park. The pearls of the park are the lakes Zhasybai and Toraigyr. A tourist center has been created in the state national park, rest houses and children's health resorts operate, in which more than one hundred thousand Kazakhstanis have a rest every year.
Bayan-Aul mountains stretch from west to east for 40-50 km, from north to south - for 20-25 km. The most high point- Mount Akbet reaches 1026m. The mountain and forest oasis, covering an area of 450 km², attracts tourists with bizarre rocks (Baba Yaga, Golub, Bulka, Horse Head, Stone Feathers), the most beautiful lakes Sabyndykol (Area 7.4 km²) and Zhasybay (Area 4 km²), caves ( Aulietas, length 22 m) and grottoes (Draverta - with rock paintings, Jug - with a waterfall 3 m high), steep narrow gorges.

Peak of the Bold.
Didn't you remember anything? For the umpteenth time in places with "wonderful monuments of natural architecture" we meet mountains, which in an incomprehensible way turn out to be so similar to transmitting devices. More precisely, on long-range parabolic antennas.

The destruction, of course, is colossal, nevertheless, the imagination easily "draws" the initial configuration of the "Kazakh Kailash".

The village of Bayanaul was founded in 1826 by Russian Cossacks. The first chieftain of the village was Nikolai Potanin, the father of the future famous geographer, ethnographer, scientist and traveler Grigory Potanin. In 1833, the Bayanaul district was created by order of the government. By the end XIX century Russian population was about 800 people.
The first Kazakh academician Kanysh Satpayev, the largest energy scientist of Kazakhstan Shafik Chokin, the philosopher and writer Mashkhur Zhusup Kopeev, the first Kazakh film director Shaken Aimanov were born in the Bayanaul region. From the age of four, the Kazakh poet Sultanmakhmut Toraigyrov lived here, after whom Lake Toraigyr was later named.

The process of the formation of the remnants is quite understandable, but the hole in the rock looks rather strange.

Castle wall of Karabas Barabas?

On this background, you can clearly see how the water level in the lakes decreases. It is clear that not so long ago, most of the complex was under water. It was water that gave the granite such rounded shapes.

The supposed boundaries of the ancient sea, on the coast of which the megalithic city was located, are highlighted with a blue marker. (clickable)

What these stones were then until an unknown force threw them off the top, now one can only guess. (clickable).

It is obvious that the previously horizontal building overturned during tectonic compression, and now it is, as it were, lying on its side. What is less deviated from the horizon is better preserved. (clickable).

You don't need too much imagination to see an ancient wall, the right wing of which leaned over and went underground, revealing a gap in the center. Natural erosion has completed the process of transforming a building from megalithic blocks using "plasticine" technology into a landscape nature reserve. (clickable).

Is it really necessary for someone to point out the obvious "unnaturalness" of this?

It is very easy to imagine what this sculptural group looked like before.

I would like to know what the rock at the bottom right was part of. Clearly, after all, a fragment of a giant sculpture.

Ruin...

The amazing world of stone sculptures, clear mountain lakes, green meadows, mysterious gorges: all this is concentrated in a small area National Park Bayanaul in the northeastern part of Kazakhstan.

The largest lake Sabyndykol(Kazakh Sabyndyköl, literally translated as “soap lake”), on the shore of it is the village of Bayanaul. The lake is named so due to its special, soft water, as if soapy to the touch.

The most transparent and second largest - the lake is located in a basin between mountain ranges. According to legend, the lake was named after the Kazakh warrior Zhasybai. Zhasybay is one of the favorite places for recreation due to beautiful view opening from the beach and its clear water. Here on the shore is the entire tourist infrastructure: cafes, campsites, recreation centers.

It is the third largest and highest located above sea level. Its water is not as clear as in Zhasybay, it is less popular for swimming, but there are a lot of fish in it.

Birzhankol is the smallest of the four lakes. Its diameter is about 800 meters. On its shore is the village of the same name. Carp, carp, crucian carp are found in it.

Bayanaul is one of the favorite places for tourists, not only because people are interested beach holiday. The Bayanaul National Park is famous for the beauty of the local nature, as well as for certain places that are considered “sacred” by religious people. Of particular interest to tourists in Bayanaul are individual rocks and stones, which, as a result of centuries of processing by wind and water, have taken bizarre shapes resembling animals, people or fabulous creatures. Among the most famous is the rock "Baba Yaga"

Among other bizarre stones, there are stones bearing names: camel, mammoth head, gorilla head, flying saucer, dinosaur, dove, horse head and many others.

Rock climbers also come to Bayanaul. Mountain climbers are popular with Mount Naizatas, Mount Bold Peak, and Mount Akbet, as the highest. On the top of Mount Naizatas there are six lakes that dry up during the dry season.

But the bulk of tourists spend their time in sightseeing: rocks, picturesque gorges, climbs small hills.

under the rock

Having climbed such a hill next to the Naizatas peak, we found stone bowls with water at the top, and the view of the national park from these mountains is simply magnificent.

And next to Bayanaul, in the steppes, there are many dried-up salt lakes.
