Are you planning a family vacation with young children in Nha Trang and choosing a place for a beach holiday? The choice is obvious - this is the beach "Paragon". Its main advantages are the sea, where there are never waves and storms, as well as soft and fine sand.

What is Paragon Beach?

Private Paragon Beach - no waves in complete safety

This beach belongs to the three-star hotel of the same name, located in the southern part of the city (the territory of the elite village of An Vien, built up with expensive housing, about 6 km from the center of Nha Trang). Almost nearby is the world's longest (3.3 thousand m long) cable car leading to the island of fantastically interesting entertainment. So, after swimming in the sea, you can then visit the park of exciting games.

Since the beach is specially designed for hotel guests, entrance and sunbeds are free for them. The rest will have to pay $ 1 for entry and $ 3 for a luxury lounger - with incredibly soft, comfortable mattresses. However, you can get by with your own beach mat, especially since during the active season there may not be enough sun loungers for everyone.

Paragon Beach is safe and comfortable place for holidays with children. Its "pros":

  • calm environment
  • gentle entrance to the sea
  • flat, without stones, bottom
  • lack of waves and dangerous currents
  • water is warm and clear

The beach is located in a bay surrounded by an artificial mound of stones and breakwaters that protect from storms, so you get the impression of swimming in a pool. But the pool loses, because on the Paragon beach there is real sea water and a pleasantly warm coastal sand. Although this surprisingly soft sand is not natural, but imported. The beach is perfectly clean, as the hotel staff takes care of it with amazing care.

How to get there

Since the beach is located in the center of An Vien village, it is convenient to get to it from any part of Nha Trang. It can be done:

  1. By public transport (comfortable bus No. 4 () runs towards the beach, runs from 5.30 to 18.30, the frequency is every 20 minutes, the cost is 7 thousand dong);
  2. (cost approximately 5 dollars, or 80-100 thousand dongs);
  3. On a bike, which can be priced from 100 thousand dong per day.

When traveling by public transport, you need to get off at the last stop. Entrance to the village of An Vien is free. The beach is located approximately 800m from the entrance.

Food, accommodation, entertainment

It is better to take food and water with you, you can also eat in the hotel restaurant or in a cafe 5 minutes walk from the beach. The sphere of public catering establishments on the territory of the village is not yet very developed, as well as other infrastructure. Since the beach is small, no special entertainment is expected here either. But fans of jet skis will not get bored.

The vast territory of the embankment is surrounded by luxury apartments and luxury villas, which are mostly rented out for different periods.

There are several hotels in the village. In addition, which owns the beach, there is also the Verano Hotel located nearby, and Praywish is a 5-minute walk away.

Evening time at the Paragon beach can be devoted romantic walk enjoying the beauty of the sea and coconut trees.

Note to potential tourists

If you are going to Vietnam, then we think you will be interested to know:

  • The swimming season in Nha Trang is from February to August (the rest of the time it may rain)
  • Nha Trang is among the 30 most beautiful bays on the planet
  • Vietnam is one of the safest countries in the world.

There are also some generally accepted tips that will allow you to have a good rest and avoid unnecessary hassle and worries associated with visiting hot countries:

  • Go to the beach from morning to 12, and after 16 hours - this will reduce the risk of sunburn and excess ultraviolet rays (which is not very good for the skin);
  • Take with you sunscreen. It is better to start using maximum protection in the early days - let your skin get used to the sun's rays;
  • Protect your eyes with sunglasses;
  • Bring your own towel or buy a new one - don't rent a towel;
  • Avoid lying on the sand and walking on the grass on the beach. they bite very painfully, and a rash can appear from their bites.

That's all, we hope that your vacation will be held at the highest level and you will remember your visit to Vietnam with pleasure.

Paragon Beach belongs to the hotel of the same name in the south of Nha Trang and is surrounded by luxurious villas. This beach has a technical origin - it was once a marina for yachts, so the water here sometimes stagnates. However, cleanliness is monitored, so you are unlikely to experience any discomfort.

The beach is fenced off from the sea by breakwaters, and therefore it seems that you are swimming in a pool. The entrance to the water is gentle, there are no waves, the sand is specially brought, incredibly soft and shallow, the water is very warm - the conditions are ideal for relaxing with small children who are always in sight. The atmosphere is quiet, calm, there are few people, apparently due to the distance from the center and the small territory.

Unlike other beaches in Nha Trang, located mainly in the central part of the city, Paragon Beach is practically not afraid of storms and big waves(coastal waters are separated from the open sea by a dam that protects against both high waves and strong winds). Therefore, it is suitable for swimming at any time of the year and in any weather.

Paragon Beach was built specifically for hotel guests, so the entrance for everyone else is paid - this is a symbolic 20,000 dong (about 60 Russian rubles at the current exchange rate). You will also need to pay for renting a sunbed - 70,000 VND (about 200 rubles). Opening hours are from 08:00 to 16:00. By the way, the sunbeds here are luxurious, some of the best on the beaches of Nha Trang - with soft mattresses, on which you can lie all day.

The beach is suitable exclusively for a beach holiday. You can also sunbathe (but be careful, the sun, especially in summer, in Nha Trang is very strong, there is a high risk of getting burned or sunstroke; use creams with a high sun protection index). In general, there is nothing special to do here, except to rent a jet ski. If you want to eat or drink coffee, then the Coco Surf cafe is open at the beach. There is a restaurant at the hotel.

Not far from the Paragon beach is the famous cable car, which leads to the amusement park Winpearl.

Paragon beach reviews

In their reviews, which tourists usually leave on TripAdvisor, travelers generally speak positively about the beach. The main advantage is its protection from waves (which is quite important in Nha Trang in winter) and shallow depth (ideal for children). However, also they also write that during the hot season there are sorely not enough sunbeds and umbrellas for everyone.The disadvantages also include the lack of changing cabins and the lack of showers.

Weather

The weather in the Paragon beach area is the same as on any other beach in Nha Trang. In these parts, a tropical climate reigns, which is formed under the influence of the monsoons. The weather here is warm and equally humid. In summer, the temperature rises above +30 ° C, there are very hot days when the thermometers come close to +40 ° C, or even completely cross this figure. In winter, your vacation will be much more comfortable, as at this time of the year the temperature is usually +26 ... +27 ° С. And, both during the day and at night. Cool days with temperatures below +20 °C are rare in the Nha Trang area.

The water temperature remains suitable for swimming throughout the 12 months. In winter, the ocean warms up to +24...+25 °C, and in summer to hot +28...+29 °C. The main advantage of Paragon Beach is that it is protected from the waves. And when quite strong storms occur in winter, many vacationers rush here.

As for rains, in Nha Trang this phenomenon is not too frequent. The average annual rainfall is only 1100-1200 mm. Most often it rains in autumn. Less likely to happen in the summer. Rains in these parts are short-term, prolonged downpours are rare. Therefore, rains are unlikely to spoil your holiday.

How to get to Paragon Beach in Nha Trang

The beach is located near the center of Nha Trang, so it is convenient to get here by any means. You can walk, take public transport or, for quite reasonable money, take a taxi.

A taxi to the beach from the outskirts will cost about 120,000 VND, a taxi from the center - 60,000 VND (not a minivan). You can order a taxi through the world-famous Uber app on your smartphone or through the more popular GrabTaxi app in Vietnam. You can also call a car by phone from one of the local taxi companies or take a taxi at a special taxi stand in Nha Trang. There are quite a few of them here. You will often have to communicate with drivers on your fingers, since English language few in Nha Trang know.

Another traditional way for a Vietnamese resort is to rent a bike and move along Trần Phú almost to the stop. Landmark - end station cable car.

Finally, you can take bus number 4, which goes to the cable car, and then walk a little, about 15 minutes at a calm pace (1 km).

So, have you already settled in Nha Trang using our tips? Then it's time to choose the best beach for your holiday.

The city is located right on the seashore, which makes local beaches almost equally accessible for vacationers with any budget: no matter what star hotel you stay in, the sea will always be nearby - no more than a 15-minute walk. In addition, all beaches are absolutely accessible for visiting - choose any one to your taste.

Nha Trang - Big city, and its 500,000 people could not help but leave their mark on the quality of the water along the coast. In the morning, as a rule, it is crystal clear, but in the afternoon it is cloudy and all sorts of garbage appears from somewhere. In addition, during the rainy season, a sick amount of silt enters the sea from the river, and the water sometimes turns brown. Even when the beach itself looks fairly clean, litter is possible if you like to swim further or snorkel.

In addition, we note right away that surfers have nothing to do here. Even during the rainy season, the water in Nha Trang Bay is blissfully calm. And even unprotected beaches outside the city in the north and south will not please you either. Worthy waves and there will not be.

Main beach Nha Trang The beach stretches along the entire city, its length is about 7 kilometers.

It will delight you with clean white sand, blue waters, swaying palm trees and a pleasant promenade. A chic boulevard of coconut palms stretches along its entire length. Under your feet are the smallest fragments of shells, so the water there is clear and clean (most often - only in the morning). The entrance to the sea is quite gentle, without a strong slope.

Since everything actually happens within the city, it is very lively here. vendors sell kites, cotton wool, ice cream and coconuts, couples walk around, children rush by on roller skates, many locals. Public amenities include toilets and small fountains along the sidewalk to rinse off.

In the middle of the beach there is such a remarkable tower in the form of a lotus.

The beach is municipal and therefore the entrance to it is free. But for sunbeds and umbrellas you have to pay a little. There are two options here: either you just take one of the sunbeds belonging to the hotel (they will come to you as soon as you start staying there), or you go to Gorky Park. There you pay for a sunbed and you can lie by the sea, go for a swim in the pool, eat at one of the restaurants at a discount. About 40-60,000 VND is an ordinary sunbed. Seats in the VIP area with soft mattresses and pillows with towels are already more expensive. A life jacket can be rented for VND 20,000 and a snorkel mask for VND 30,000.

Where to find the cleanest sea in Nha Trang?

We have already said that the purity of the water off the coast sometimes leaves much to be desired. What to do?

Head to expensive resorts outside the city, such as Six Senses Ninh Van Bay, An Lam Ninh Van Bay, Mia Resort or Amiana. All of them have clean beaches. But these clean beaches, like these resorts themselves, are not even cheap at all.

The easiest and cheapest way out is to take a boat to the nearby islands, where the water is guaranteed to be great. Everything will be fine, except for the usual risks of sailing on the high seas. Every day, many boats depart from the coast, taking away swimmers in exceptionally clear water.

If this option does not suit you, just head along the coast to the north or south. North would be preferable.

The best and cleanest beaches in Nha Trang are located outside the city.

If you move from the very center of the city to the north, then the people on the beach become clearly smaller, it is much quieter and calmer here than in the center, finding a free place is not a problem at all. Around - calmness, relaxation and even some kind of drowsiness. Like in this photo.

We move on. 4 kilometers north of tourist center Nha Trang, passing by the Tran Phu bridge and the Hon Chong cliff, you find yourself on a very quiet and almost deserted stretch of coast. By the way, from 6 to 19 hours you can get there by white and blue local bus number 4. The interval between flights is about 20 minutes, the cost of the trip is 7000 VND.

Since there are few tourists here and the beach is rarely cleaned, unfortunately, you can see some garbage brought by the sea on the shore. But this inconvenience is compensated by calmness and loneliness.

In addition, a little south of the cliff Hon Chong has an excellent seafood restaurant. And if you climb this rock, you will see an amazingly beautiful view of the coast, the city and the bay.

Of the minuses, we note that the entrance to the sea here is not gentle, the depth is large, so this place is recommended only for those who know how to swim well.

And finally, we will move even further north, but only by car.

Doc Let Beach is located 50 km north of Nha Trang. It is much calmer, cleaner and more beautiful than the city beach. Right on the shore, local fishermen will prepare seafood dishes for you at a very competitive price.

How to get here? You can take a taxi, or you can use the blue-white-yellow bus number 3, which leaves from the tourist center. It operates from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., the trip takes just over an hour and costs 24,000 VND. You can stay anywhere on this beach or close to the hotel where you can rent umbrellas and sun loungers.

And now we explore the southern beaches of Nha Trang.

Bai Dai Beach (or Long Beach). Located about 30 km south of the city on the way to the airport. In general, this road itself is very beautiful, the landscapes around are simply magnificent. And the beach is neat, clean and also very beautiful. There are also several small restaurants where you can enjoy tasty and inexpensive local seafood. There is a rental of jet skis, you can go water skiing. The beach, as usual, is free, but you have to pay for parking a motorcycle (if you didn’t come by taxi, then there is no other option).

Bai Duong beach is 1.5 km from the city if you move along Tran Phu street. Soft sand, warmer water, and it is much calmer and cleaner here than in the city.

Last but not least, Winpearl Amusement Park also has its own cozy little beach overlooking the city's coastline.

To visit this beach, you need to buy a ticket to the amusement park for 600,000 VND. You get to the island by the longest cable car in the world or by ferry. This beach is next to the water park. And since most visitors to the island came here for entertainment, and not for a beach holiday, it is almost always not crowded here. You can rent a catamaran, try parasailing and kayaking.

So, the best and cleanest beaches with amazingly clear and transparent water in Nha Trang are located outside the city. You can get there by bike, but it’s better to take a taxi or a motorcycle, because riding a bike in the heat is not the most pleasant experience. many of these beaches have no security, no showers or changing rooms, and the water is deep enough. So be careful and attentive and ready to take care of yourself on a deserted beach.

In search of the best beach in Nha Trang, the choice is up to you.

dream beach

Dream Beach

Vacationers who like to change places of deployment can easily get to Central beach on Dream Beach (translated as “Dream Beach”), which is very close. Dream Beach - very popular place recreation. Its main feature is that it is located near. Interestingly, the main city park is named after the classic of Russian and world literature - Maxim Gorky. And the second name is used much more often than the first.

Both the park and the beach get rave reviews from guests. The park concentrates entertainment attractions for children, cultural and sports events for adults.

The beach is divided into zones:

  • "Economy";
  • "Standard";
  • VIP.

Being in each of them differs in the level of comfort provided and the price of services.

In the first option, for 30,000 dong, an economical tourist is entitled to a sunbed, in the second, free Wi-Fi and access to the pool are attached to it (a standard set costs 60,000 dong). VIP clients, in addition to this package of services, receive a towel by paying another 40,000 VND.

Snow-white sandy shore, cozy granite embankment - beautiful place for beach activities.

Paragon

Private beach - no waves in complete safety

Lovers of secluded family holidays, especially those with small children, note the advantages of Paragon Beach. This ennobled area by the sea is owned by the hotel of the same name with three stars of comfort in the southern part of Nha Trang. Belongs to the elite village of An Vien, which is 6 km from the city center.

Important advantages of Paragon beach:

  • closed area, which guarantees safety;
  • a small area that excludes excessive noise and provides a calm atmosphere of secluded relaxation;
  • gently sloping shore, flat, without sharp stones and whirlpools, bottom ( great option for children's bathing);
  • the sea is warm, clean and transparent;
  • soft, fine sand on the shore.

But the main feature of the Paragon beach is a calm sea, without waves, without storms and insidious currents.

Beach in the north of Nha Trang

The beach in the northern part of Nha Trang is also distinguished by silence and not crowded. There are not many waves, since the place is located in a "niche" between the mountains. The length of the North Beach is about 2.5 km. It starts behind Cape Hon Chong, on which it is located, where both tourists and locals like to be photographed.

Sections of the sandy shore, a narrow promenade, hotels, shops and a few cafes - this is what the North Beach is. The infrastructure of life and entertainment here is less developed than in the city center, but given that you can get to the beach in just 10 minutes and for 7 dong on the municipal one, this option for a place of marine leisure is quite acceptable.

In addition to the above places, one should not forget about hotels with private beach. Most 4 * hotels and all five-star hotels have their own beaches, free for guests, with the maximum number of amenities and a minimum of people. For example, nice beach at and at Diamond Bay.

Beaches in the area

Bai Zai

In the rest of the beach area, there is practically no infrastructure.

25 km to southbound from the city there is an unusual beach "Bai Zai" (in the original Bai Dai Beach). Military bases were recently located on its territory, and ordinary visitors were denied access to this coastal zone. Echoes of the military past contribute to the fact that here you can still enjoy the silence, without a noisy crowd of vacationers.

The name itself is translated from native for local residents language means "long beach", which is quite consistent with it, since the length of the site is about 15 km. The beach infrastructure has not yet covered the entire territory. Closer to the beach appears in pristine, wild beauty.

"Bai Zai" attracts tourists with clean sea water, playing in the sun with shades from turquoise to aquamarine, snow-white sand and almost always calm sea (during the dry season). But in the rainy season, "Bai Zai" will delight fans aquatic species sports, especially kitesurfers, vivacity of sea waves.

Zoklet

There is a lot of natural shade from the trees on the beach, it is not difficult to hide from the sun

Moving in the opposite direction from Bai Zai (north of Nha Trang), after 50 km, you will reach the Doc Let Beach. He, too, is not distinguished by an abundance of sun loungers and crowds of vacationers. Still, the distance from the city affects. But on the other hand, those who are not stopped by fifty kilometers will see a truly beautiful beach in all of Vietnam.

The nature here is very colorful and vibrant. Therefore, the photos taken in this place are not inferior in beauty to advertising images from luxury resorts.

The coastal area is 6 km long, the coast is gentle. Numerous vegetation along the beach creates a natural shade, protecting from the scorching sun.

Delightful sunsets are a godsend for romantics in love. Actually, Doc Let Beach is very fond of couples and newlyweds.

The disadvantage in the winter season is a stormy wind that raises fine sand into the air. Therefore, owners of expensive photographic equipment should take care of its protection from clogging by flying grains of sand.

Jungle Beach

Jungle Beach

Another diamond in the necklace of Nha Trang beaches is Jungle Beach ("Jungle Beach") and its twin brother - Wild Beach (immediately after the first one). Calm, cozy beach located on the Heo Peninsula, in its eastern part. It is separated from the city by 60 km.

The main advantage of this place is the pristine exotic beauty, the richness of local vegetation. Lovers of "sea, palm trees and sand" will enjoy them to the fullest.

Not far from the beach and from nearby hotels there is a wonderful market where they are sold. By visiting it early in the morning, you can buy culinary creations national cuisine.

The water temperature in the sea rarely breaks below 24 degrees, even during the rainy season, so swimming here is always comfortable.

Although there are only two hotels near Jungle Beach, the prices for accommodation in them are moderate. The package of services provided by one of them - Homestay Jungle beach for 600 thousand VND - includes, in addition to accommodation, Three meals a day and the use of sunbeds and sports equipment.

Those who not only love to bask on the beach, but also enjoy architectural sights, can go to Pearl Beach. Drive 80 km to it towards the city of Cam Ranh, but the trip is worth it. Compensate for the time spent on the way charming mountain landscapes and exotic vegetation.

The peculiarity of the Pearl Beach is that not far (20 km) from it are the legendary Tu Van Pagoda and the unique tunnel - the Dragon's Labyrinth.

Entrance to the beach is paid for everyone except visitors local hotel Ngoc Suong, who owns it. You can eat at the restaurant on the water.

It is easy to get to the Pearl Beach on your own,. It costs 100-150 thousand dong + fuel (22-23 thousand dong per 1 liter). You need to follow it towards the city of Cam Ranh along the TL657I highway, and then along the AH1, then turn left onto Bình Lập. The second option is (the trip will cost $70). The third option is to buy sightseeing tour, the cost of which is from $30 per person, with lunch and visits to local attractions.

Islands

The highlight of Nha Trang is that it offers tourists not only relaxation on the beaches in the mainland zone. Attract visitors and amazing beauty coastal areas on the islands.

Swallow Island

It is appropriate to dilute swimming and entertainment on city beaches with a visit to nearby islands. First of all, it should be noted a real paradise nest for both birds and tourists -. These birds really live on the island. The Vietnamese collect their nests and prepare a gastronomic delicacy from them - tasty, satisfying and healthy.

In addition to swallows, a feature of the island are Coral reefs where a huge number of unique fish live. And, of course, clean, warm sea water will certainly make you want to swim, and the gentle sun - to soak up the beach in its rays.

Southern and Northern Islands

southern islands Nha Trang

Worthy of attention near Nha Trang. There are 19 in total, but the most popular of them are 3: Hon Mun, Hon Tam and Hon Mieu, which are located at the closest distance to the city. The southern islands are chosen by lovers of a quiet, quiet holiday.

But fans of active marine leisure prefer. The most beloved by tourists is the Monkey and Orchid Islands.

Get to these amazing places rest will not be difficult. Boats depart every hour from the port to the two most famous northern islands.

Their names speak about the main advantages of these territories. Staying on one will bring a lot of pleasant impressions from the show with the participation of monkeys, on the second - you will enjoy the colorful flowering of orchids. Moreover, this spectacle can be observed here at any time of the year, thanks to the abundance of plant varieties that bloom non-simultaneously.

Vinpearl

Winpearl Beach

A real firework of emotions will provide visitors with a beach on. The main "treasure" is an amusement park, where a huge number of bright attractions are concentrated:

  • water park with amazing slides on the water;
  • aquarium with the richest underwater world;
  • slot machines and cinema halls;
  • "Singing Fountains.

And after the time spent actively in the park, it's nice to relax on the local beach. White as snow, sand is imported from the mainland. And the sea here is special and charming, which is inherent in everyone. resort areas fabulous Vietnam.

Rest in Nha Trang attracts tourists from all over the world with its versatility, but one of the strengths of the resort is a beach holiday. Of course, the sights, history and culture of the Asian country are very tempting, but for many they pale in front of the opportunity to lie down on the soft sand and expose pale bodies, tired of winter, to the sun.

If you are hungry for beach sprawl, you have to decide which beaches in Nha Trang are worth visiting. During my stay in Nha Trang, my friends and I visited the most top places and ready to tell you about each.

So let's get started.

City Beach Nha Trang

The largest, most popular and easily accessible beach of the resort stretches for 7 kilometers in the shape of a crescent. This is the so-called city beach of Nha Trang.

Every tourist will visit the city beach of the city at least once, because it is along it that the vast majority of hotels and inns are located.

How to get to the city beach

To get to the coveted sand, you have to overcome one obstacle: a road with very active traffic. A feature of the Vietnamese, and indeed the Asian movement in general, is the absence of any rules. Even if you are standing at a pedestrian crossing, numerous motorists and scooter drivers will not think to let you through. To safely reach the other side of the roadway, you should slowly and smoothly start crossing the road, even if no one is stopping. The main thing is that your actions are predictable and understandable, then the drivers themselves will drive around you.

After passing this test, you will find yourself on the embankment of the city beach.

My favorite restaurants on the City Beach Embankment

She really deserves attention. A real square with benches, gazebos, neat flower beds and designer trimmed trees is waiting for you. This is a very popular place where both locals and visitors like to spend time. Here you can walk your dog, sit in a cafe, admiring the sunset and sip a cocktail, warm up on one of the simulators, make new friends and just relax. In the photo above - the city beach and one of the most nice cafe-restaurants Nha Trang: Gorky Park.

We repeatedly went to the Gorky Park restaurant, where they cook delicious borscht and mashed potatoes (50,000 dong or 2-2.5 dollars). There is a large selection of fish dishes (from $3 to $15 for a non-delicacy dish), and the waiters try to speak Russian. Next to it is the Ponagar restaurant, where in the evenings a young man plays the guitar or a girl with a pleasant voice sings. Here you can order an inexpensive cocktail (2-3 dollars or 40-70 thousand dong) and enjoy the sunset or just sit looking at the sea. The Louisiane Brewhousew restaurant is also good, where for 20-25 dollars (500,000 dong) you can have a hearty meal together and drink a seafood salad and a second glass of craft beer.

Beach infrastructure and local climate

The simulators here are absolutely free and anyone can use them.

I am sure, looking at the beaches of Nha Trang in the photo, you will surely see White sand and clear azure water. This, of course, is wonderful, but the city beach of the resort can only boast of a large yellow sand interspersed with shells and interspersed with algae, which is incomparable with the sand on the so-called Bounty Beach among the people. The sea in Nha Trang is not the calmest, although in the morning, until about 10 o'clock, the waves are small and you can swim even with children. However, the waves do not prevent adults from enjoying swimming all day long! The sea temperature throughout the year does not fall below 25 degrees, and the coldest months are December and January.

Regarding amenities: there are sun loungers on the beach, but they are paid: around 40,000 dong per day (a little less than $ 2). This is for vacationers savages or visitors. If your hotel provides sunbeds and umbrellas, of course, you pay nothing extra. There are several organized toilets on the beach, the entrance fee is 10,000 dong or 0.5 dollars. There is also a shower for the same price. You can always go to one of the beach cafes to use the restroom. As for changing cabins: we saw them only in the part where the Gorky Park restaurant is located. Although it is possible that in other places they are hidden behind trees or attached to cafes. Changing rooms are free.

Food and entertainment

You will never get bored on the city beach: there are hundreds of cafes here, locals are trying to sell you goggles, swimming gear or a light snack. Only instead of "honey baklava" and "boiled corn", as in the resorts of the Black Sea, they offer freshly caught grilled sea reptiles or banana cakes. All this costs up to $ 5 (up to 100 thousand dong), but in stores five minutes from the beach - cheaper.

There are also numerous entertainment points. What we have tried:

  • a banana ride for two lasts about 10 minutes and costs $20 (450,000 VND);
  • parasailing for about 15 minutes - 20 dollars (450 thousand VND) per person;
  • ride on a water scooter 15-20 minutes - 550 thousand dong or $ 22;
  • rent of a catamaran - 26 dollars (600 thousand dong) for 1 hour;

In the evenings, the city beach is regularly cleaned, but tourists diligently throw garbage during the day, which spoils the whole impression.

Summary

Of course, this beach is not ideal: an obsessive merchant can stick to you, cleanliness is far from being at the highest level, but because of the abundance of entertainment and cafes, there are always a lot of people here, in particular Russian tourists. So you should choose this beach consciously, for the convenience of location or availability developed infrastructure. However, privacy and natural beauty beaches in Nha Trang are also available, more on that.

Bai Dai Beach (aka Bai Zai, aka Bai Dai)

If it seemed to you that the city beach with its 7 kilometers is long, then what can you say about the 15-kilometer Bai Dai beach in Nha Trang? Compared to the city beach, it is not so crowded, which, however, affects the infrastructure: there are much fewer cafes and other joys of life. Even 10-15 years ago, on the site of the current beach, the operating military base. Bai Dai began to be promoted in the last couple of years, and at the moment this place can be considered one of the most tempting in beach holiday in Vietnam.

Indeed, sometimes you want to lie lazy on the white sand with the quiet sound of the sea nearby. By the way, it is here that the sea is one of the calmest in Nha Trang, and the waves rise only in winter: from November to February. I think this is one of the best beaches not only in Nha Trang, but in the entire Southeast Asian region as a whole.

How to get to Bai Dai

From personal feelings, I can say that the disadvantage of Bai Dai beach is its remoteness from the city, as well as a small number of hotels nearby. That is, for peace and quiet, you will have to come in the morning and leave it in the evening. The distance to Bai Dai from Nha Trang is about 20 km. You can easily overcome them on a scooter, or you can order a taxi and be here in 20 minutes.

A scooter for a day will cost 7-10 dollars or 150-220 thousand dongs; the cost of a taxi ride will be from 450 to 650 thousand dong (20-30 dollars).

Infrastructure

If you want to know which sea in Nha Trang is the cleanest in Vietnam, then Bai Dai beach is worth a visit and swim in the gentle and warm water. Such a sea will be especially appreciated by couples with children.

I think the wildness of this place is only a matter of time. Already, several hotels are being built here at an active pace, and in the coming years, this can be observed along the entire embankment. Of course, Bai Zai will become one of the most popular destinations tourists, and the corresponding infrastructure will appear in as soon as possible.

Even now, beach restaurants and cafes rent sunbeds, their cost is slightly higher than sunbeds on the city beach and amounts to 50,000 dong or a little more than $ 2. You can see toilets on Bai Dai only in cafes, many people change clothes there, as there are no separate booths yet.

Doc Let Beach (Zoklet)

Not as long as Bai Zai, but much more distant - 45 km - from Nha Trang, located open to tourists and local beach Zoklet. It takes a long time to get here, so you should allocate a full day for a visit.

Doclet is one of the most beautiful beaches Nha Trang. Palm trees grow along the coast, the sea is turquoise here, and the sand is white. In a word, a place as close as possible to the paradise Bounty. Waves are rare here, because Doklet Nha Trang beach is protected from them by numerous small islands.

If you are not too lazy to overcome 45 km north of Nha Trang, Zoklet is definitely worth your time and effort.

Most likely, your neighbors on the beach will be the same active and restless tourists, as well as a few fishermen who come here for their catch.

How to get to Zoklet (Doclet) beach

It is preferable to get here by taxi. The road on a scooter is tiring, so if you have someone to team up with to reduce the cost of the trip, do not miss this opportunity. The trip will cost an average of 700 to 1200 thousand dong (30-55 dollars) - which taxi driver will come across and how you can negotiate. Of course, this is the price for a trip there and back.

The bus would be the cheapest way. It runs from the center of Nha Trang (DienKhanh district) about once an hour, the final station is Zoklet. You will spend 1.5-2 hours on the road, depending on the traffic. A bus ticket costs about $1.50. You can get to DienKhanh by buses No. 1 and No. 4 in just 10 minutes (if you go from the embankment).

One way to get to Zoklet is to take a guided tour, for which different agencies charge between $10 and $30. Choose any street agency in Nha Trang or contact the Russian information center where you can buy a tour. It includes transfer and lunch on the beach. She takes the whole day.

If you are driving on your own in a rented car or bike, do not miss U Tena Cafe or the White Sand Doclet Hotel, which are the main landmarks of the beach.

Infrastructure

Entrance to this paradise- paid. For an adult, the price is 30, for a child - 15,000 dong. The price includes parking for your transport, a shower on the beach and directly staying on Zoklet. Numerous travel agencies will tell you so, and some vacationers will advise you so. But there is always a secret passage, and in this case it runs through fishing village near the beach. You need to go through it to the very sea, and then go along the coast towards the visible cafes and sun loungers.

The infrastructure of the beach is represented by restaurants and cafes, small shops, hotels, swimming pools, rental points for umbrellas and sun loungers. Renting an umbrella and a sun lounger will cost from 3 to 6 dollars per day (60-120 thousand dong). The two most popular cafes - "U Tena" and "U Sani" - will feed you tasty and satisfying food for about 7-10 dollars per person (120,000-200 dong).

The fishing village has a small market where you can buy fruits and have a budget lunch. For two adults, for rice with seafood, two glasses of beer and one large watermelon, it took about $ 8.

Jungle Beach

Vietnam Nha Trang beaches are quite scattered from each other. Yes, one of the most interesting beaches Jungle Beach is located as much as 60 km from Nha Trang. He hid behind the Heo Peninsula, but if you love the purity and color of nature, you must definitely visit it!

As the name suggests, Jungle Beach is surrounded by jungle. And there is also picturesque mountains and a waterfall 12 meters high! It is pleasant to swim here after a swim in the sea - clean and cool water invigorates.

How to get to Jungle Beach

If you get to Jungle Beach on your own, then take the AH1 highway to the north of Nha Trang. As soon as you get to a shipbuilding factory called Huyndai, drive around it from the south and within a couple of minutes you will be on the beach. Allow 1.5 hours for the road to the beach, as some parts of the route are very busy and you can drive along them at a speed of 30 km / h. Public transport does not go here, a taxi to Jungle Beach will cost from $40 (800,000 VND) one way.

Make no mistake, the white sand, rocky mountains, waterfall and jungle are worth the 60 kilometers!

Beach setting

I believe the fans of solitude and wildlife they definitely want to stay here. We - wanted, and rented a bungalow for the night. This can be done right on the spot, they are located a few steps from the beach and are perfectly visible. For the sake of greater comfort, you can donate a slightly more tangible amount and rent a hotel room, its average cost is $ 30.

Our bungalow was called "Homestay" and cost about $25 per night. The amenities are minimal, but for unity with nature - just what you need!

On Jungle Beach you will often meet windsurfers who come to catch waves and in 90% of cases get what they want. Due to the open area on this beach, the waves do not stop, only their intensity changes. Unfortunately, we did not find special equipment rental points, all surfers had their own equipment.

Paragon beach

You can also find out which sea is in Nha Trang on Paragon Beach. It is named after the hotel to which, in fact, it belongs.

To get to the fashionable Paragon beach, you can go through the territory of this very hotel, paying for a sunbed (the amount is around $ 3). After that, the whole day in this pretty place is at your disposal.

How to get to Paragon Beach

If you need to puzzle over how to get to other beaches of Nha Trang, then Paragon wins them in this matter: you can even get on it public transport. It is very close to the cable car to the amusement park , With Responsibly, you will not get lost looking for it! You can get there by city bus number 4. When you reach the terminal, get off the bus and look around.

You will definitely see signs either to Paragon Beach or to the An Vien Hotel. You need to go to the beach through it.

On Paragon Beach

This beach has a small area, which is carefully monitored, so it is unlikely that you will see garbage of any origin here. The beach is surrounded by breakwaters, so the sea is calm and clean, you can safely send children to swim. Some go in for amateur snorkeling and even catch crabs here!

Personally, Paragon Beach reminds me of an expensive European quarter. Luxurious villas are located along the entire embankment, everything is very civilized and calm. Moreover, in the evenings, beautiful lighting is turned on, and you can take a walk with your loved one in a romantic atmosphere!

Sun loungers are paid, around $ 3, there are changing cabins and gazebos on the territory where you can hide from the sun and have a bite to eat or gather with friends.

Beach on Monkey Island

Monkey Island

If you have been at the resort for a long time and have already traveled all the best beaches in Nha Trang, but you want to try something new, you can head to Monkey Island.

In addition to active entertainment such as rental of jet skis, parachutes and kayaks, there are cafes on the beach (lunch for two with drinks - about $ 15) and a karting track (check-in costs 80,000 dong, about $ 4), but the main attraction is the ubiquitous monkeys, thanks to which island and gained fame.

How to get to Monkey Beach

There are several options. The easiest is to book a tour at any street agency, of which there are hundreds on the streets of Nha Trang, which will include a transfer, guide services and lunch. The cost per person is about 250,000 VND.

You can also get to the island from the North Port of Nha Trang, where you will be taken by bus number 3 in 20-25 minutes (ticket will cost 1-2 dollars) or taxi (about 15 dollars). This is where the boat starts. A ticket to Monkey Island costs 120,000 VND ($6) for an adult and half that for a child. This price is for the round trip.

Exploring Monkey Beach

On the island, some go snorkeling and even diving. This is done mainly in the southern part of the beach - it is more rocky, fish and crabs are found here. Many bring equipment with them, order diving from agencies in Nha Trang, but you can rent a mask, snorkel and fins for snorkeling right on the beach for 3-5 dollars.

Communicating with monkeys is, of course, a fascinating process, but for many it is quickly tiring. In particular, leaving things unattended is not recommended.

Naturally, you need to follow the safety rules, do not tease the animal, do not offend him, and do not grin, even if you smile with all 32 teeth (as I do in this photo). For a monkey, this is a signal of aggression.

If you're heading to Monkey Island for the day, stock up on snacks and drinks for about $15 for two.

Summing up

Which beach in Nha Trang is the best - it's up to you! A single rating is hardly possible. And yet, if we evaluate the beaches based on cleanliness, infrastructure and transport accessibility, I can draw the following conclusions:

  • city beach - ideal for accessibility, has a developed structure, there are questions about cleanliness;
  • Zoklet will give you the opportunity to take a break from the hustle and bustle, but if you do not want to travel far, you want to relax in comfort and cleanliness, then Paragon Beach will suit you;
  • if a good beach is more important for you than the convenience and duration of the move, then try Jungle Beach and Bai Zai, which, however, is becoming more and more infrastructure every year;

Come to Nha Trang and find your favorite!
